Outfit > 10.03.2014 Dark lace

A while ago I was invited to a bloggers meeting at X-Two. Just to catch up, talk about fashion and see the fall/winter collection 2014/2015. X-Two is stepping up their game in designing some more fashionable and younger items. I must say it’s not there yet but I did see some promising things for next season. More bold prints, vibrant colors and a coat that I really want. It would be great to see them make some dresses, maybe the perfect black one, and more bodyfitting stuff instead of A-line tunics.

Love this coat!
Vibrant colors, love it!

I had the chance to pick something from the current collection and I picked this dress. A lovely lacey flock print on a soft salmon/pink colored mesh fabric. If the length of this dress was on knee-lenght or just over the knees it would have been perfect. Now I only wear it with tights (no bare knees for me!) and that’s a bit of a pity for this spring dress. Oh and I sized it down one size and even then it fits just generous enough. I styled it with an old cardigan I bought at Miss Etam some years ago. I like the high-low thing and it balances the shortness of the dress I think. Anyway, I felt a bit more secure with this on.

I’m still working on those leg-insecurities… I’ve come a long way from not showing them at all to showing them bare in summer and spring. I don’t know if I ever go totally bare legged in shorts but for now it feels good.

So tell me, do you have insecurities about certain body parts? And do they restrain you?
