Purple is not a color I pick easily for an outfit, I just don’t like it. And yet, I’m wearing it now… I guess this kind of purple is close to blue and I’m a sucker for flower prints and bardot necklines so count me in 🙂 Lately I tend to wear more blue, I think I’m in my blue period. Not feeling blue, don’t you worry, I’m a happy camper.
Back to the dress… The bardot neckline is very very hot right now but is it wearable as a curvy gal? I mean, a lot of us curvy goddesses come with a good pair of ‘girls’ and wearing something bare shouldered can be tricky in the support area. Well, as you can see it can be done. I bought my strapless bra a couple of years ago and it’s great. It’s from Elomi and has 4 hooks in the back and anti-slip stuff in the cups. This bra does-not-move. Not an inch. Not even once I have the urge to pull it up while I’m wearing it.
If you want to invest in one I recommend you to purchase one that comes closest to your skin tone. This way you can wear it under everything.
Another tip if you don’t want to invest in one: sometimes it’s possible to slide your straps to the side so they sit on you upper arms. You can also tuck the straps in to your cups.
Hope you liked this post and talk to you soon!
