Last time I wrote about my autumn cravings but suddenly we seem to have our summer back here in Holland. So out with the summer dresses and all the other stuff I didn’t got to wear!
This outfit is one a like to wear to the office, the skirt is divine, the top is on trend. And although you would not picture them together they make a perfect match. Of course you can wear the top on a jeans, but that’s not me. So I styled it with this flower skirt which I love to wear as often as a can. For the obvious reasons 😉 As you pinch your eyes, or look from a distance the stripes melt together to a solid light blue color and that’s why it goes perfectly with the flower print. I love mixing prints and I think I will do more of that in my fall/winter outfits. Maybe a leopard print with flowers? I will see how that goes…
The skirt is from Studio 8 and I bought it last year on sale. It’s a gorgeous print with vivid colors and made of a scuba fabric. And it has pockets! Always great. The top I got from H&M+, I saw something similar at Zara but no way that’s gonna fit me (please Zara size up!!). The wrap of this blouse fits nicely at the boob area and the sash is so long that you can easily wrap this around the waist. Because of the solid fabric you can make a nice bow out of it. I think stripes in light blue look so crispy and fresh. If you order this you might want to size up a size because you know the sizing at H&M… always off. So annoying! H&M: please fix your sizing!!! (and put more effort in your plus size range, but that’s another story).
From a distance the stripes look like a solid color so they go perfectly with the flower print
I know for a fact that I’m going to wear more summer outfits because I have one holiday destination left. I’m already counting the days!
Did you got to wear all of you summer styles yet?
