On January 3rd Xandres Xline openend a brand new store in the center of Brugge, Belgium. And not only that, they also launched the capsule collection by Sabine Peeters with a little fashion show and a party. If you follow me on Instagram you might have seen it come by in my Instagram live feed. Sabine is a well known make-up artist in Belgium, blogs ánd is a body positive activist. Who better than Sabine to ask to design a capsule collection for Xandres Xline, right? She knows the curvy body and understands the needs for a nice and fashionable fit. After her travel to Mexico she was inspired by the country and it’s colors and vibe and this collection is the result of that inspiration.
That’s sway is street slang and stands for women who are strong, body positive and dare to wear what they like
The colors are vibrant and the designs are trendy. The collection contains this green trouser with side stripe, a gorgeous girly skirt, a t-shirt, a blue linnen blouse with beads on the shoulders, a white blouse with lace shoulders and a scarf. All items are in size Eu 46-52. I really like these collaborations with plussize bloggers: they not only know exactly what the fashionable curvy woman wants but also have the knowledge how it has to fit the body. The collection would have been even more perfect if it had a dress and a blazer in it. And maybe a jeans. But this was the first collaboration for Xandres Xline and who knows what the future may bring. I keep my fingers crossed for the next collaboration!
I chose the trousers because it’s a bit different than my usual choice. I’m in a bit of a change lately and expanding my horizon to not only wear dresses but also jeans and trousers. And I must say I likey a lot! These trousers have a perfect fit, wears great and I especially like the side stripe and the sash. It gives it just the sway it needs. The t-shirt has the slogan ‘That’s Sway’ on it and that’s a quote by Sabine Peeters. She also has an Instagram account with it. I mixed and matched this outfit with my blazer by New Look Inspire which is oversized and just the way I like it.
If you want to experience the Sabine Peeters x Xandres Xline collection: it’s in store and online as of today! Be sure to check it out. See their website for store locations.
