As you might have seen on my Instagram live stories I enjoyed a little much needed vacation time in Spain nearby Alicante. Although it was just one week I loved every minute of it and I was so sad to go home again. The location was just too dreamy and romantic, up on a hill between the orange trees, the see nearby and the food was so good. If you searching for a quiet and romantic place with your love you must check it out here.
The packing struggle is always real…
I don’t know about you but when I have to pack for my vacation it’s always a struggle. Complete stress… What to take with me? How is the weather? Which shoes? What to wear on the plane? This time I was sure about this Yoek dress, this one had to come with me because this was my new crush: I fell in love with it the minute I saw it, this one had my name written all over it! I saw it a few days before my vacation at Maxim’s and Yoek was so kind to send it to me to take with me on my trip. And it was perfect!
This ruffle dress is made of a transparant voile and has a midi-length. You can wear it al buttoned up for a fashionable look or let the upper buttons open for a more relaxed boho look. I wore it with bright pink loafers (yes, finally some flat shoes I like!) and a belt to show some shape. Without the belt (see the last 2 pictures) this dress has a subtle shape at the waist which is also very nice. I like to wear it loose without the belt as well and style it with heels, but heels and hills in Spain is no match if you know what I mean 😉 Because of the transparency I’m wearing a jersey slip dress underneath.
I’ve wore it exploring the beautiful town of Altea and later on that day it seem to be the perfect cover-up for my bikini at the pool. So multi-wearable as well! And because it doesn’t wrinkle it is the perfect spring holiday dress. Pack and go.
Back in Holland the weather is gray, wet and cold but I’m wearing this dress for sure again this week: with tights and heels!
