I have a lot of dresses, I know, but every year the hunt for the perfect summer dress continues. You know, the search of the dress that is easy to wear when it’s tropical hot but wears cool without you looking if you are going to the beach, make your curves look yummy, that doesn’t wrinkle every time you take a seat and at the end of a hot day still looks gorgeous. Too much too ask? No I don’t think so. This dress checks all the boxes.

I immediately ordered this maxi when it popped up at Asos because I know dresses like these are sold out in a minute. It flatters the curves in the right way, hides underarm bits and still looks cute with the bows on the sleeve. The fabric wears great although it’s polyester. Yup, not all polyesters are a nightmare. This one is from a crepe quality with a teeny tiny bit of stretch. Doesn’t wrinkle and is dry in a minute. Perfect! Needless to say this number will be one of my favorites this summer.
The sliders are real suede ones from Zara and they are the cutest don’t you think? And they are comfy too. Number 1 trend this summer is a straw or bamboo bag and because it’s a trend I know I probably don’t like it next year so I found a budget one at Dille & Kamille. They got a small version as well but this one is perfect for running arronds.
Did you find the perfect summer dress already?
